I just pick one of these up for a work car and was wondering what the deal is with the engine. Does it have the 'performance improved' heads? What are the easy mods for more grunt. I don't want to lose any mileage or spend a bunch of money with the mods. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What is are the differences between a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis and 2005 Mustang. I know the intakes are different. Can the intakes (including plenum and all) be swapped? We're putting a 2.8H Mammoth on an Aluminator DOHC in an '03 Crown Vic. The hood doesn't clear. Anyone know where to look for some clean looking hoods cowling that will help us clear this? Thanks. (Not lowering the motor.)
