Default Working out the bugs

Well, I went to Richmond for street night last night to see what the new intake would do. Everything is the same from the last time I went to VMP and could only muster a 12.2@ 128 (car only dyno'd 620hp). 17.5#'s, pump gas, and 13* timing, 17" M+H DR's and 4.10 gears. This time, still with no 2 step, the car was still a pig off the line. I also think Ed may have dropped my rev limiter down to 7k rpm accidentally, because any time I waited to see my shift light at 6900 rpm, it would hit the limiter and cut out for a second. The last pass I revved the car a few times right before launch and it helped tremendously, but 1st gear went by real quick, so I hit the limiter again. So once I put the 2 step on, I will probably drop down from the 4.1 gear to a 3.73, and see how the turbos like that. My clutch was also acting up on the way to the track, but seemed alright once I got there, it may be slipping a bit up top though, cause the MPH still seems a bit soft. The car dyno'd 698 hp last time I was on it.

Here is another pass from Friday. It was horrible off the line, but you can hear how quiet the car is even though it has a full 3" off road exhaust with 3" straight through Magnaflow mufflers.

Your car would be alot quicker with 3.27 gears! The 4.10's are just killing it.

I'm gonna drop to a 3.73 this weekend. If I go any lower I won't ever be able to use my 6th gear. With the Viper spec OD and the 28" tires I don't even hit 2k rpms til almost 80 mph as it is with the 4.10's. Once I get everything worked out with the car, I will probably put an aut in it if I can find one with OD that will hold up.

Haha, it's a street car first. Honestly, if i had a 2 step on last friday and would have pulled a 1.7 or 1.8 60' i probably would have been decently in the 10's, so the 4.10's can't be hurting that bad. I only dyno'd 698hp and the car weighs 3700#'s with me in it. Not bad for pump gas, DR's and full weight.

Does anyone have any vids of their stick turbo cars on 3.27's at the track?

When my car made 538rwhp with the 5 speed it ran 11.20's @ 126 with 3.27 gears and 26" tire.
When it made 540rwhp with the C4 it ran 10.5x's-10.7x's at 130-134mph with 3.27 gears and 28" tire.
