thanks for the info. you seem to know your stuff. here is a good one. I have gotten accustomed to but dont like the "delay" with the fuel getting to the engine between shifts. that "hiccup" almost when you shift because the car sees a spike in fuel pressure and then cuts pressure way down and then it has to build it up again right away. i know the only way to fix this is by going to a return style fuel system but a buddy of mine suggested changing the part of the size of the intake manifold volume. would this help? thoughts?

basically, how do i keep this problem to a minimum? thanks.

No, you should never touch the Manifold Volume Scalar, unless of course there's good reason to (as in positive displacement blower added, or entire manifold replaced, etc). Instead, if you have the stock pumps and stock FPDM, then leave the PID values alone, and work on calibrating in the FPVT as necessary, since this parameter not be dialed in properly is the root cause the majority of transient hesitation issues that so many experience. Of course, please list me out all your mods, and I'll do what I can to guide you on the steps to do all this.

You could put on a WOT box. I've had one on my car for several months and it shifts as smooth as an auto. Just a theory.

I have considered and re-considered LT. About the time I seriously consider LT I read something like this. The response from those who proclaim more power or faster track times with the LT usually say something like peak HP is not a big increase but "power under the curve" is significant. Dan, James, Brooks, Mike, I'm assuming you are saying that is false as well?

Are you all also saying that even the more radical set ups with a lots of boost, stroker, cams and ported heads still do not benefit "anywhere along the curve" with LT?

Edit. I did not realize I am in 2005-2010 GT land (I have an 03 cobra) I am still interested in the answer as it pertains to 2005+ GT (as several friends drives 2005 ) as well as how it might pertain to my 03.
