Make sure you check the clearnce on the passenger side with these headers. We had to change the shape of the 2 lower pipes. Aslo, on the 04 cluster: I'mnot sure the 98 EEC et al supports a digital odometer, VSS and you need to change the dash harness. This is where the fun begins!

i know that the polarity is different from the 2v to 4v coil on plug connector. you should use whatever is gonna be the easiest and less frustrating to work on...i have a 96 cougar harness running my 03 cobra coupe..it was cheap and all i did was rewire it and convert it to COP...good luck

no the 04 cluster will not work on your car.. it is not plug and play, not even if you try and modify it will it work.. the cluster is tied in with the cobra ecm. why dont you just buy a cluster overlay like i did and have your indiglow look .if thats what your looking for.i have it on mines and i think it looks good..sell your cluster and harnesses and have some bling for mods.. olso im quite fond of the mac longtubes myself.no problems fitting and cant beat the price.heres a vid of my cluster after i put the motor in.i was checking the oil presure vs temperature and rpm and just messin round.its cr4p quality cus it was taken by a photo cam not a vid cam.olso music is kinda loud..that was a 1/2 throttle pass at the end, i went sideways into the other lane.cant shoot a vid and drive at same time (damn multi-tasking) but it was 3 in the morning no traffic..
