Default Found my favorite exhaust combo

We are working on a new project GT500 and just got done with the exhaust. I think it's my favorite sounding shelby so far. This may be old news, or someone may have it but I thought I would post about it.

Consists of Kooks 1 7/8" headers with cats, 3" X pipe and 3" Magnaflow catback. Good volume outside the car, quiet inside, great tone.

I plan on getting some videos today.

Here is what we've done and what we plan to do in the future. It's nothing new really, just a different order of things.

Done
Dyno'd car bone stock
Installed the exhaust listed above and redyno'd (still no tune)

I hadn't done this before (full exhaust, no tune dyno) and the results were kinda suprising to me. Once we're done for the day, I'll post all results.

Doing today
Tune with above combo
Add K&N CAI, leave stock pulley and retune
Add 2.6 pulley and retune

On the way
KB 2.8 Stage III kit

Early next year
Cams&ported heads

We are going to put this all together in an article with all the data and post it on our homepage. I'll post a link here when it goes up.

This car is owned by Rich Hanewald. Rich is a new employee of Modular Depot and you will be seeing more of him here on the boards.

Yep. I had just the bassani 3" race system on my car to start with. It was barely any louder than stock. Then I installed the ARH longtubes and high flow cats and now its just obnoxious.

I'm gonna putting the stock mufflers back on the car and see how it sounds.

This was the magna pak version.

Sound clips should be available by early next week. Didn't have time to do it here, he's going to do it at home and send them in.

Sound something like this? This was my first setup but it was too loud @ WOT so I went to magnaflow's.
