thinking about 10's.. new best et.

I went out to famoso friday and managed to hit my best time yet...

11.45 @ 116mph
1.55 60' on stock 17's with m/h dr's 275/50/17
.001 rt

Beat a street bike that went 11.7 with a .004 rt

Now I have 15" big and littles for next time so I'm thinking maybe 11.2's.
I'm on stock motor and stock tranny still and thinking of upping the nitrous to a 125 shot and shoot for a 10.99 on may 15th.
You think its possible?
Is there any stock motor / stock tranny auto hitting 10's?

To my knowledge you would be the only one on nitrous though.

You'd be the first that I know of with the sauce and an auto to go 10s. I think it is completely possible to run that quick with just nitrous. I worked with Justin of JPC racing 4 years ago to go 10s for a MM&FF article, that was with a stick but with there are better tuning and parts today than there were 4 or so years, it is quite possible.

cool. i think i'm going to give it a try may 15th and see where that goes. just hope the tranny can hold a little more torque than the 523 it's taking now. maybe i'll work on a couple more weight saving mods before then to help out a little more.

Get a good trans cooler on there and pre-heat the fluid. That helps it live.
