Default Open Downpipe Q's

I'm thinking about running an open down pipe to eliminate ground clearance issues completely. i just wanted to hear from anyone who is running an open DP or has in the past. I'm really just wondering how much louder it is. Annoyingly loud or not too bad? If anyone has any vids would appreciate it as well.

I am currently driving the car with no exhaust. I personaly cant wait to have the chassis work done to put the exhaust back on. It is way to annoying for me atleast. My dp is 3 1/2 with a 4" cutout though. It does sound good when at WOT.I wanted to leave it off to save the 60lbs. but thats not going to happen.

Way too loud for the street for me, and that's with twins.

i run open dump on my car 24-7 .daily driver.. 74mm single, it's loud but hey whats loud to some is beautiful music to others..i've had several different police officers behind me and next to me on several occasions and got thumbs up from them.so my guess is its passible. disconect your exhaust drive it around town.. if you can live with the noise leave it off if not then put it back on.

I dont care what anyone says... a downpipe dumped in the motor area, is going to be loud as hell.. louder than 99percent of everything else on the road.. Including all the jackasses in LS1 cars that just chop off thier stock exhuasts and run around like that.
