Default Launching w/boost w/ a manual tranny?

Is a two-step like the WOT box all that's needed? I'm gonna assume my car with a 5-speed and 3.27 gear will have to build some boost before I dump the clutch or it's gonna result in a serious bog??

Rev limiter seemed to work for this guy. His 60's was pretty good being a manual turbo car. Not sure what rear gear he was running though

Yep, if that was the stock rev limiter he was on and not a 2-step just set really high. The stock rev limiter pulling fuel seems like the opposite of what you want for spooling a turbo.

I'm pretty sure he was on the rev limiter, I don't remember him posting anything about using any type of a two step. Its been awhile since I have heard anything else about the car though

ya that guy was running twin 50s and he was launching off the rev limiter. he said he would bounce it off the rev limiter a couple of times and when he let go of the clutch he pretty much had full boost.
hes a great driver for sure.

I'd buy the MSD 2 step for our cars. I just installed mine today and have one more wire to hook up before I can test it out. I didn't have any luck with the stock rev limiter with my 76mm turbo.
