New best in the race car
We got a new set of tires on the 99 Cobra and took it out to the motorplex. They had the track preped great and we made 3 passes which were all good enough for new best. Right off the trailor it went 8.07@179, then we made another pass and it went 8.00@178 on the last pass it went 8.07@178. I weighed it once to see and it was 3175lbs. This car has a 4.6 based stroker motor, stock frame rails, 91mm turbo, & true 10.5" slicks.
We needed it to be consistent so we tamed it down on the line quite a bit. Just gave it a few more pounds up top and it picked up 5mph! We will be racing it in The Clash of the Titans next week down in Houston. We'll be running the true 10.5 class. Maybe we'll get our 7's down there. After that it's time for a tubo upgrade!

Re: New best in the race car
Here is the video's from Saturday. I know the reaction times sucked, I wasn't really paying attention to that. I just wanted to make sure the launch rpm and everything was good.
Hopefully it doesn't rain this weekend!
