CFM Performance now makes it easy to vent your crankcase with their new billet valve cover breather kit. This kit is a direct replacement for your factory oil fill cap and allows unwanted crankcase pressure to exit. The proprietary internal baffle substantially reduces oil particle travel without affecting air flow. A double-seal O-ring is used to reduce the amount of force needed to create a positive seal, increasing seal life and eliminating leaks. The filter element is washable and has a chrome top for great looks. The pre-oiled cotton fiber traps dirt particles without restricting air flow. Although this kit was designed for use in racing applications, it works and looks great on any engine compartment. A special nut is available separately which allows this kit to work with just about any valve cover without the need for welding.

New Brake Hose Kit:05-Pres. S197 Mustang OEM Fit Brake Hose Kits
After over a year of development J&M Products is proud to the release our new direct OEM fit D.O.T. certified Teflon lined brake hoses for the S197 Ford Mustangs. These brake hose assemblies use true OEM style direct replacement non-universal fittings along with proper center support fittings. They also are the only Teflon lined stainless hoses that also use factory style ABS wire clips instead of zip ties to achieve proper
OEM factory hose routing and fitment. Expansion of stock rubber hoses causes a spongy brake pedal feel and loss of initial braking force. Installation of our Teflon-lined stainless steel hose assemblies will give your car a firmer pedal, quicker braking response, and easier brake modulation. Every hose is tested to 3000 psi to guarantee a leak free hose assembly. Best of all these are made by J&M Products right here in the USA.

We here at Logan Motorsports, like many 2V enthusiasts, were very frustrated by the lack of hardcore parts for the 2V cars. The 2V cars always felt very good down low, but we all know that once the tach needle swings past 5000, the situation becomes bleak. The stock intake manifold is to be blamed for a large part of this, yet very few options are available at this time. The manifolds that are available generally increase power, but don’t fundamentally change the 2V’s low revving nature. Previous attempts at making higher rpm intakes seemed promising, but often resulted in less than promising real world performance. Deciding to make a manifold is easy, but actually doing it is much harder.

Performance enthusiasts have long known the importance of proper camshaft to crankshaft timing. “Degreeing” camshafts are a common and worthwhile step in performance engine building. Modular engines seem to respond particularly well to this, with 2 or more camshafts not only are you trying to phase the camshafts with the crankshaft, but also with each other.
Traditionally with modular engines this process has been time consuming and difficult. This is most often due to the lack of a good, reliable adjustable timing gear set. Although a couple of aftermarket companies have tried to remedy this situation, some of the solutions haven’t been particularly well conceived. Like many modular engine builders, Logan Motorsports was looking for a reliable, easy to use adjustable cam gear that would also allow us to make quick cam timing changes on the dyno.
