    BTW, my car has 1 3/4" HP headers and 2 1/2" up pipes and has no problem spooling the turbos fast. But my intake runners are pretty long.

    Yes, they are 12mm. People do drill them out to 12mm for the larger/stronger bolt (I've had it done on the Ford FR500 cams).

    I can see going smaller on the up-pipe but after the turbos, you want the piping to be as large as possible (which won't cause slower spool).
