Those are very normal stock 5.0 auto 1/4 mile times in that Heat/DA. IMO a stock auto doesnt have the power(or is hampered by the tune) to do a much better 60' in those conditions, DR's or stock...

Sounds about right for the heat. You might be able to get a 12.7 in better weather. What was the DA?

This + gears and tires = best bang for buck. I wouldn't do 3.55s unless your going to run a power adder later. A stall is another good option but more expensive.

Gonna take at least cams to get you there. Probably gears as well. Or you can strip it(drop 3-400lbs off the car) but that kind of kills the cruiser factor. What was the DA when you ran the times...
