Gents, I was asked to come back to this thread and confirm some information, so here it is:
I can confirm that Gulf Mach 116 is in fact a direct replacement for URT Advanced and can be run on the...
Of course you made more on E85. C10 is weaksauce =o)
Regarding my car....it was an 11 second car when it:
-Had the stock, unported blower
-The only mods were intake, catback 2.8 upper and a...
Vs which race fuel?
There are quite a few cars making more power on advanced than they did on E85.
E85 has it's place, but like anything else....pros and cons.
Besides, aren't there pump gas...
I wish everyone wasn't so hung up on "octane" number. With modern fuels, it becomes less relevant every day.
With the Shell fuel in particular, I wish they never labeled it a "110", because it most...
Race fuel has it's advantages over E85. Topping that list? It's more consistent.
Also, after you factor in the fact that E85 burns 30% more fuel, it's not always readily available everywhere and...
I have a lot of experience with this fuel and also those who have tested it. There is some good info here (cross-post): ...
There are a few dealers in NY. Where would you prefer to go? Staten Island, Seaford, Buffalo?

02-22-2012, 08:36 PM
Mike Norris at Norris Motorsports, but no worries, I already talked to him.
He should have some of the fuel soon. :bigwink:

This reminds me...I need to call Norris! If you don't mind, call him and let him how you want him to carry the fuel, LOL
I'll do work on my end.

This is the car that went from 980 to 1072 at the tire.
On C16, max boost was 26 PSI and it was pinging on more boost than that.
On Shell URT Advanced, they were able to run 28 psi and more timing....

The stuff is awesome and is every bit as good as everyone is saying. Many of the top shops (JPC, BlowBy, Dez, Evolution, Lamotta, CFM, StangHi, etc...) are now using it and have been able to show...

Click here to see PART 2 (Kooks, Whipple, LFP)
The car put down 716 RWHP running fat as a pig (mid to high 10's AFR), the car now makes over 730 RWHP...
Part 2 is up!!!!!!!!
Click here to see part 2 with Kooks/Whipple install.
Yeah buddy....part two gets the Whipple!
Big thanks to Eric and Elisa for being a part of it.
This video was a co-op effort to showcase the potential of a relatively stock GT500.
This is part one of the video. Part 2 soon to follow!...
This I definitely can't wait to see!
Brian Black was talking about it and said what you guys were working on is impressive.

I met him before. He needed a ride home. I told him to "hop in".

Is it harder to stop now than before? It's pretty hairy already.
A 28.5" tire will definitely raise the effective gearing, making a 3.73 seem like something numerically lower.

I should have remembered this (we used to weigh specific gravity of fuel for mileage testing at SC).
6.2 lbs per gallon is average. I told you "9" but this is actually the weight of water.

Def might me a concern.
The blower gets HOT. Noticeably hotter than the Whipple on Chris 03 cobra.
May have just been the sweltering outdoor temps on Saturday........

Congrats on the article, very cool car.
The G37 is a nice car. Very refined for a Japanese piece.
But what is the power to weight ratio, etc, etc?
It's just a different car.
Have you seen the APS turbo kit for the 350z? How about...
There's actually an interesting story about how my old car accidentally ended up with 3.27's
103+ almost 104 mph in the 1/8th =o)
I've been wanting to go to one of these since I had my 92 300zxTT.
I don't know if Dean is still there, but he sold me a ton of stuff for my old car.
