Does anyone know where i can get a performance 8.8 or 9 inch solid rear for the cobra?
Can i use my cobra brake components or do i need to buy aftermarket brakes as well?
I would lik to retain the 2003 cobra rear disc brake setup.

Easyiest way is to get a 99up GT to swap everthing out.Hopefully it's a built rear already.
The Corner Carver guys love the 03 IRS. Perhaps you can post over there and find someone interested in a swap.

The Gt has rear disc's.. The 96 to 98 cobra brakes should fit.

I heard that Kenny Brown will do the swap because they are always looking for IRS's. Just a thought.
I think they hit there quota.

I did the swap in my 01 and put in a live axle from a 2002 GT. I am also using the brakes from the GT as well. The swap is pretty straight forward and easy to do. Try and find a GT owner willing to do the swap. You will need to find a 99+ GT so that the axles are the same length. The 98 and older cars axles are shorter.

Good Luck,
Razor.
