Default 67 fastback with 5.4 GT500 motor project

Hey everyone! I check out this section from time to time and decided to start my own thread of my project. Its a super slow build but coming together well. For starters its a 67 fastback that I built a 460 efi motor with an e4od tranny, 4 whhel disc, hydroboost etc.

I've since sold the big block and purchased a used gt500 short block with all lower end cooling etc that is scecific to the shelby, new take off blower and intake, new ford gt heads, 4r100 from Lightning, and will be using a mostly complete Lightning harness modified extensivly. here are some pics, tell me what ya think.

What do I think??? What do I think???? I'll tell you what I think buddy. Oh, you asked for it.

I think there is a 100% chance your car will be cooler than mine when it's done.

Thanks everyone! Be patient, as my time and funds dictate how soon I will get my car back on the road.

I was planning on using the stock GT500 manifolds to hurry up the build, but decided to order some 1 3/4" stainless bends and collectors to build some long tubes now while im still mocking things up. I have a water jet company cutting out some flanges and hopefully I will be abe to start on some headers by the end of next week.

nice job on the pan. what do you intend to do on the pickup? I have a 66 mustang that I have been on for about 4 years. I put a 99 4.6 cobra engine in it with a 5speed and hydraboost. If i can help with any info let me know.

The pick up tube just barely touches the new floor of the oil pan w/o a gasket. Where can I find pics of your build? I like to see and share ideas.

Wow. That is awesome! Please keep us updated with some pictures. My buddy did a 03 swap in his fastback, but a GT500 motor is going to be crazy!

The pics look like the exhaust ports are pretty tight on the frame rail. Maybe just the angle of the pics though. Post up some shots as you fab the headers up if you would. Great project!
