Wow the falcon looks absolutely sexy, I suppose it cant come to the United States because of emissions or something though :(

It meets Euro emissions, so I suppose US emissions is not the issue.
    Ford should bring it here,
but what would it compete against in the market?

Well its practically a luxury mustang and it would compete against alot of cars, BMW Mercedes Etc

It could easily replace the Crown Vic/Panther platform cars.
They could "Lincoln-ize" it for the Town car.
As long as we get the Boss 315 motor too.

not sure in US dollars, out here in Aus, brand new bout $45k then add some options $50k+ second hand market probably pick a rough one up with a few Km's (miles) for $20k
    good buy in my opinion.

still not much happening with the build of this thing, still waiting and trying to sort out a few things. sorting out my new intercooler should be on within the week, then its a matter of sorting out piping, theres no direct bolt on kit available for the front entry throttle body setups.

threw some new rims on it, these are factory style alloys fitted to the FPV turbo 6's

Not sure if I have posted this info here or not.
    Choose/build a car at:
    www.fpv.com.au

Get the price, and convert to US dollars at:
    www.xe.com

Today, the Aussie dollar is 67 cents to one US dollar.
So if the Aussie car is 60k Au,
then multiply that by .67 and the answer is in US dollars.

no they dont, they bend....heard anywhere near 500rwhp depending on who tunes it. I paid $35k for it, it was 4yr old with low KM's (miles) on it, fully optioned minus the sunroof

Same powdered metal rods we have here.
    Even Shelby's have PM rods.
    Ford GT's have Manley rods.

The Shelby rods are much better than we get. Our Boss rods are navi rods, except the 290's are machined out in the little end to accept a floating gudgeon.

Understood. What I am saying is that the Shelby rods are better than the rods in our cars. Must be the thickness of them or the composition of the metal, but we have rods letting go at under 600rwhp, where the GT500's seem reliable at up to 750.
