Default Feedback? Coming back from the sandbox!

I have been over here in Iraq for a while, and am finally coming home. I have some new plans for the cobra, and was wondering if I could get some feedback from the pros? I have been out of the game for a while.

    Current setup:
    Lightning pulley
    K&N filter
    Small wet shot of nitrous
Old school RWTD tune on a predator
    Solid Axle
    Dual Friction clutch
    532/524 at the wheels

    My plans are as follows:
    Diamond CP pistons, .020 over
Twin GT pump kit from Lethal
    Up the nitrous shot
    Whipple in the future.

My goal is 800ish RWHP. Anything else I should add? I can just up the nitrous shot as I need to, and as I adjust the tune. What tuners are considered the best for this type of simple setup nowadays?

    Adrian

Welcome back bro! I just got back from Bagram myself. I would also go with the Lethal/Fore fuel hat and upgrade the line to a -8. The hat is a work of art and makes the install of the pumps/wire upgrade sooo easy. I did it the ghetto way the first time and it leaked. Oh I just re-read and saw you said the kit. Well I'll leave it just in case you just meant the pumps and module. I also went with some IRS upgrades and bought a spare half-shaft.

fyi - KB just came out with a new type of BAP that pretty much eliminates the need for allot of the fuel system goodies.

Really? So do I still need to install the modified FDPM unit if I buy it? Alright, time to do some research... damn I need to catch up on all this stuff. I am going to buy the tophat... I have dual GT pumps so do I need to buy two?

I have a solid axle, so no halfshaft worries :P

    Welcome (almost) back!

Just be careful when you get back. We had another idiot, fresh from the sand box, kill himself in an auto accident a couple of days ago....

I'm a pretty mature guy, I am 28 and have been around the block a time or two.

So if you were going to run a whipple plus nitrous system, and wanted to use dual Ford GT pumps, what would be your parts list? I am going with returnless system.

I had a hellion ready to install, then the ex left and I had to sell it.

With twin GT pumps should I run a single or two fuel lines? I would also appreciate a PM on the cheapest place to buy these new tophats, what a great idea!
