I had 3 12sec runs today. All those were w/ a GOOD 10sec burnout to heat the BFGs. The track guy got mad at me for burning out on the dry part. He said I had to do it in the water (not for DRs) or do a rolling burnout, which barely made any smoke. After that I couldn't dip back into the 12s:mad:

I guess the 90/10s and 4cyl front springs work;) I can't wait for the 4:30s and ET Drags:eek: Gotta save my pennies...

My goal to have a 12 second daily driver has been accomplished. Is it normal to want 11s now?:D

I'll like to know what is your weight (Car)?

That is some REALLY good MPH with your HP and gears! Was the track down hill????:D :D

At first I thought maybe their radar was off or something, but everyone else was trapping the same as they always do:confused:

Once my car gets out of the body shop, hopefully, I'll have a lighter hood and battery and then I'll try to find a place to weigh it.

I'd LOVE to get the 4:56s, but this is my only car. I'm talking to my dad about buying his 94 Pathfinder. I'd use that as my tow vehicle and daily driver. If I get a good deal on that, the 4:56s will go in.

I'm getting the Saleen hood and Cobra bumper and either a dyna-battery or mount a new stock battery in the trunk. The body shop can't touch it until the insurance gives them permission, but the shop *thinks* the control arm might be tweaked. If it is, I will pay the difference and install a tubular K-member, A-arms, and coil-overs:D.
That should drop a couple more pounds.:cool:

11s or bust!!!:D

It's a 2001 motor with LTs, o/r H-pipe, WMS CAI, Magnaflows, Custom dyno tune/chip.

The HP numbers in my sig are not SAE corrected, but I still think I should have 300+rwhp. That dyno was w/ the stock mufflers.

Actually you wont see much driveabilty difference between the 4.30's and the 4.56, a good friend of mine just went from 4.30's to 4.56's and loves the 4.56's says he didnt loose any gas milage. Also Bob Cosby drives now on 4.88's! :jawdrop He drives his car every day, I see him all the time on the Naval Base.

At what point do relatively stock 4Vs "run out of gear"?

Damn, I'm at almost 7000 in THIRD gear with the 2.73s.
I guess I'll go with 4.56s (damn peer pressure:p ) I've heard FRPP are the best. Do they make them that low? Where can I buy them? Most places only go up to 4:10s...

LOL, the crusher.

I already have a feeling I'll be taking my PI Converter out very soon and sending it back for something a littler higher.

What stall did you end up going with again?

I thought mine was going to be way too small also and I think yours is already a bit higher than mine (this is Eric - TheNitrousEdge btw)

I have been able to almost duplicate the 60' of my car when it was a 5 speed so far - best of 1.66. Best ever with the 2v/5sp was a 1.64

PI told me it was going to be 3300-3500 becuase I told them I'd be using nitrous again shortly.

If I hadn't planned on using nitrous again they had recommened a 5500 Stall.

They also told me that the 33oo-3500 may make the converter stall 100-200 RPM higher on the brake.

Only time will tell. :)
