    Default setup questions

i have a v2 t-trim and i was wondering on issues that i might have with the setup i want.

    1. is it better to run a blow thru or draw thru MAF?
    2. if i run a blow thru, can i run it with no intercooler?
    3. what pulley do i run if i wanna get around 400-430hp
    4. with the pulley on #4^ what injectors do i run to make the 400-430hp
    5. is a blow thru or draw thru easier to tune?

those are some questions for now... i have a 03 GT and v2 t-trim with a base kit, stock internals and i wanna make 400-430hp 400-430tq.

any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    1. blow thru, easier to tune and better drivability (pmas hpx meter with a 05+ mustang pigtail that you splice onto your old maf plug)

    2. i wouldnt, a lot of tuners have had problems with turbulence due to the maf being too close to the blower

    3. I made 420ish thru an auto on a 3.33. You will prob need at least a 3.33 or a 3.2/3.1 pulley (def going to want an intercooler imo if you run anything more than the stock 3.6 pulley

    4. 42lb injectors are fine, but 60s arent much more. If you don't have injectors yet just get 60s and your tuner can setup the tune for them. You'll have more than enough fuel if you decide to turn up the wick more. Think 42's are done around 450-475rw but not 100% sure. Make sure rest of your fuel system can keep up

    5. see #1, blow thru is easier to dial in usually

Vid master:How nuch boost you running with your setup? You have a s-trim wouldn't I make the same boost as you with a bigger pulley cause I have a t-trim?

Also I don't want to run a BOV but I want a louder than stock BPV which one should I get?

hey sorry just noticed you said t-trim. Not sure how the pulley sizes vary with the T's. My S w/ the 3.33 makes like 10-11 lbs @ 6k and 13 lbs @ 6500

i run the procharger red race blow off valve. I would go with either a maxflow from vortech or the procharger big red bypass. Just keep in mind you will have to modify the pipe for the bigger flange required with the bigger bypass valves so you will need someone who can weld for you if you cant do it

so i think if i run 1 size bigger then yours i should be making the same boost. i think ?!?!?
