Hey folks! My name is Joey Anderson and I'm with Tick Performance, a T56 transmission specialist located in Mooresville, NC. We've been sponsors here at ModularFords for the longest time now, and ever since we've come on board it seems like we've been so busy that we haven't had a chance to get to know you guys! Luckily we're catching up and I'd like to give you all the opportunity to check out our offerings and services.

First things first; check out our site! You'll notice quickly that we do a lot of GM stuff - don't hold that against us! The T56 that comes in many GM vehicles is very similar to the T56 in 03-04 Cobras as well. We've done multiple transmission builds for local Cobra guys, and we're excited to offer our services to you all too.

As you poke around our site, make sure you check out our Rebuild Prices! We offer a very affordable alternative to buying aftermarket transmissions - you actually send us the transmission that is in your car, and we'll fix/rebuild/beef it up to handle the gobs of power we know you want to throw at it! We have an easy 15 step packaging and shipping process that is on our site as well, and keep checking back in our parts section as it is coming very very soon.

As a way of saying "Thanks for having us!", we've dropped the price on our Level 3 EXTREME Viper T56 Rebuild from $1899 to $1699. Shipping cost is $100 each way, and for the rest of 2009, we'll even pay for the shipping one way to ModularFords members as well. In total, this is a $300 savings!

Again - very nice to "meet" all of you and we look forward to working with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to post in this thread, shoot me a PM or Contact Us via our site as well. For a direct link to our 03-04 Cobra T56 Rebuild page, click here.

We hope so! The T56 can take a ton of power when built properly - we look forward to working with all of you!
I can vouch for Tick Performance...I have known Joey and Jonathan for a while and they both are good guys and definitely will be a benefit to the site
Thanks buddy! See you soon I'm sure.
Tick rebuilt the T-56 in my Cobra powered foxbody. Excellent customer service and very competitve pricing. Great people to deal with.
Thank you for the kind words!
My transmission is already faceplated.... How much are we talking about for a viper upgrade, and all the polishing and treatings and anything else that will make it handle more power?
Our labor to go through a T56 is $369. In your case, it'll just be our labor plus parts and shipping. Cryotreating is $350, REM Polishing is $250 and they're both good ideas. The Viper upgrade itself is $600 when not done as part of a full rebuild.
I'm thinking about faceplating 1-4 in my t56. Do you have a package price if I send you my gears and sliders to faceplate them? Or do you sell them outright?
We offer the faceplating as a service during a full rebuild only. If you don't need a full rebuild, your cheaper bet is to send them to Liberty's yourself. http://www.libertysgears.com/
I can vouge for Tick Performance as well. I use their adjustable clutch master cylinders in vettes and camaro's along with their speed bleeder. quality parts and great service.
Thanks buddy! Much appreciated.
Welcome to MF. Do you guys also work on the newer 6060's?
It is definitely something we're capable of - parts availability has been the problem with those transmissions thusfar! Luckily Tremec is starting to make parts available slowly but surely. I'd imagine that we'll be having some package pricing very soon.
i`ve talked to these guys many of times about my T-56 they are great guys very helpful !!!!!
glad to see yall got on here !!!! :beerchug:

also all my gm friends have allways had nothing but good stuff to say about their work
Thanks buddy - I definitely appreciate the kind words!
Looks like I'll be giving you guys at TICKshift a call sometime in the near future. My tranny is really hating me right now. I went out a couple months ago and was pretty hard on it and now it's grinding ever so slightly when going into 3rd and 4th gear even when baby-ing it around town.

I have had the car get stuck in 3rd gear a couple of times but if I let out on the clutch a little and push it back in and really get aggressive with the shifter it comes out and then after a few wiggles back and forth in neutral it doesn't get stuck any more.

Needless to say I haven't been driving the car very much since that happened but it needs to get fixed. I'd like to get the stage 2 upgrade and replace any worn out parts, if any.

Give me a buzz when you're ready! We're covering shipping one way for the rest of the year, so that'll save you $100. We look forward to working with you!

Joey,

I would love to do a hydraulic clutch on my 2003 Cobra. What is involved in setting that up??
