Hey guys.

The Aussie Falcon forum futher down the home page is a little slow moving, so I though i'd post up a few pics and a link to my build thread in there, and the in depth build that I maintain on the Australian Ford Forums.

The basics of the build are a pair of GT35R ball bearing turbos (they are a 61mm turbo) pushing air through an air-air intercooler to an FR500C intake and FGT heads (untouched with the std GT cams) the bottom end is an off the shelf Aluminator short (a short that is going to earn its keep I tell ya!) Minor details like the exhaust manifolds are GT500 logs reversed and the TB is a slightly modified FRPP 05-09 twin 62mm CNC piece. The balancer is a 10% underdrive Innovators west item (Friday I have RPM on my mind......) and the injectors are ID2000's that equate to 190lb/hr..... what a killer HI injector!

Down the other end, the transmission is the locally used ZF 6 speed automatic which has been strengthened and is currently getting the converter stall speed lifted to around 3000rpm (as high as we can go at the moment without inducing trans ECM faults) and the rear end is staying IRS for now..... at last we get a decent 8.8" diff centre in our cars, before 2002 we made do with the 7.5" centres.

Here's some pics:

Now for results... we ran the car up before the trans broke the input shaft (hence getting the converter stall speed lifted in hope the softer converter will help the standard shaft live until the new Vasco ones are made) and with 24psi on your equivalent to 91 octane MON pump fuel we made 722rwhp on a Dyno Dynamics at 6300rpm with just 7-8 degrees of timing! The fuel system will support over 2500hp so Methanol is an option but we will probably just use E85 like we did on my twinscrew car.

Release is factory hydraulic with an alloy slave cylinder

The clutch is basically the same as the Carbonetics range:
