    Default CNL Air Intake - 2011 Mustang GT 5.0

    Evolution Performance, Inc. **Exclusive** - C&L Performance is proud to announce their ALL NEW air intake upgrade for owners of the 2011 Mustang GT. The original factory assembly on the new "5.0" flows 748 CFM, while the new replacement upgrade from C&L flows 1,096 CFM in a "no tune" required configuration and 1,112 CFM with tuning required.

    This means that even without the need for tuning, the C&L upgrade assembly flows over 46% greater than the factory assembly, while still delivering a mass airflow signal to the computer that matches the output of the original assembly.

    This is the only system that facilitates the feature of the factory "cold air" induction feed as well as the noise transmission tube, which transmits engine intake sound into the passenger cabin of the vehicle.

    Dyno testing is currently underway, and will be posted once comparison tests from multiple vehicles have been performed.

    i would be interested to see the gains that having a flush tube without the port for the "engine noise in cabin bs" i'm sure that would help

    MMR's CAI has a provision for the sound tube and has a similar airbox that is fed by the factory CAI provision.

    That piece looks so damn good, i would be preordering if i had myself a 2011 instead of my 2006..

    will you will gain real 11 rwhp with that kit and at 6800 rpm it will be 13rwhp
    then tunning this thing will make around 30 to 35 rwhp or maybe more i cant expect what this 5.0L have

    i noticed that making it to rev to 7K will be the best thing with or with out the CAI ..

    GT Stang - Great data! Wish everyone would post in such detail. Power, timing, AFR, and mass-air flow rate along with inlet conditions pretty much tell just about the whole story. Really glad to see you have most of that, and shared it. If you have the .drf (or .drl) data file, please upload it!

    hate to ask this but why not budget the project and run something like this (sorry for the posting a non vendor site) unless on the C&L it reconfigs the MAF?
