This is the second working prototype for the new 5.0. We really tried to go the extra mile to make this shifter super quite. As you can tell even with the console removed it's quite! Shorter throw then stock, more positive feel and it still maintains the factory reverse lock.



Notice the bark of 4th, even with the Nitto's! Love this car....

No. Skip shift has nothing to do with the shifter. Its electronic... Ive never hit mine anyway even before the sct tune which will eliminate it. You have to be shifting at a very low rpm to ever hit it. It really isnt a big deal. Not sure what all the fuss is about really. Ive driven a bunch of gm stuff thats had this and never had a problem with it. Just dont shift at like 1500 rpm and you wont have a problem.
