i tallked to the owner about tunes ,from mail order .and he said they are all generic,he said you are not getting the performance you would with a custom dyno tune . is that true because i dont know, i want to get a tune . what is better, and is it worth the extra money. steve b
If whoever you are dealing with has developed in house tunes and bases your tune from those tunes then you are essentially getting a custom tune that can be tweaked and dialed in if needed. We develop our tunes in house on our own vehicles or on customers vehicles so when a simliar combination needs to be email tuned we can use something we have developed in house as a basis for that email tune.
just call and talk to any vendor/tuner that your interested in using and see what they have to offer and how they can help.
my opinion of mail order tunes r ok unless u have access to a dyno because as 03-sonic stated no 2 cars are the same,i dont care what any1 says a dyno tune put 2gether by a good dyno facility is far better then a generic mail order tune
