Default TF 3v heads. What ever happened?

I'm wondering what ever happened to the Trick Flow 3 valve head that was supposed to be released a few years ago?

The Ford 3 Valve engine unfortunately will never have a Trick Flow head or any other 3-Valve equal. The engine was just not in production long enough and the problems associated with them will kill any feature venture. Sorry, but the short production run, long list of problems, and the final nail in the engine was the release of the vastly improved version none as Coyote. 3-Valve is dead...It was a nice stepping stone for Ford, while they researched the 4-Valve engine, but with the improvements in power, torque and fuel economy that the extra set of controllable valves bring, you will not see anymore 3-valve anything. Sorry

The 2-valve took many years of asking for a better way to get a new design head, but once it finally came to market, the 2-Valve has proven to be as good if not a better platform for HP then the three valve type. It has literally renewed the 2-Valve market, making those engine great platforms for power adders like Turbo charging. The new head flow, from Trick Flow now flows better then a CNC ported 3-Valve head. I have seen much new interest in the 2-valve engine performance market. But, we had years and years of 2-valve population to work with, not the 4-5 years market of the three valve.

Great explaination, Trick Flow has never looked at making a 3 valve head due to a lot of the reasons listed in this post.
