I've got a 01gt 42lb injectors and 90mm maf, had a vortech for a while now its n/a. It has a very very safe tune in it (sct flash) it just gets kind of crappy mpg (18 combined) compared with my 03 cobra (23 combined) i'm just wondering if i put the factory maf/injectors in and get a tuner with the best mpg tune if 1. it will even work, 2. actually improve the mileage.......thanks!

If you have the tune modified for no blower with the same 42s and 90 maf you should see your mpg come back I would think. The blower tune is richer for the blower and the timing is less aggressive than a stock motor would have. Or you can put the factory maf and injectors back on and flash back to stock assuming there are no special things in your tune you have done like egr delete or pats disabled due to a different computer.

It's just an sct flash.....that's why I wasn't sure if I throw stOck stuff in it with a handheld programmer if it would
