Whipple or Not?

I have a 2005 F-150 5.4L V8, I have already done an AFE cold air kit, Borla Ford Racing cat back Dual Exhaust, and have a SCT programmer hooked up to it. I still want a little more horse power and a little better gas mileage. I hear the adding a Whipple will increase horse power and might also help out with fuel economy. Before dropping $5-$7K on a Whipple any thoughts?

Sell it and buy a 2011 with a 5.0 or Ecoboost. Way faster in stock form than the 5.4 3v

5.4 3v are garbage engines. Too many issues with oil pressure and timing components.

Fuel economy will not increase with a whipple.

I had a F150 5.4 2V, a F150 5.4 3v, and now have an Ecoboost F150. The 3v engine was a problem child.

Just my 2¢
