    It's been 1 week and the issue has not been resolved. I will maintain the list/thread in question elsewhere.

    Honestly what browser are you using? The permissions are set for you to edit indefinitely the only thing you can't change is titles and polls.

    Chrome. I can edit posts I made a week ago.

    That's weird, do you have any plugins or add ons on it? Like I said your permissions are set right, can you try from another browser like ff just to be sure?
