    Default Logging Boost

Iíve finally decided to take the plunge into self-tuning and data-logging, via SCT, and I have lots to learn. Iím definitely a newb in this area.

In regard to logging boost, is there a way to utilize my eBoost 2 wiring as it already has a vacuum/boost source from my intake or do I need to install a GM MAP sensor?

Please note that I have a 2001 Mustang and my car did not come stock with a MAP sensor.

    Thanks.

    Steve

On my 01 GT I just used a 3 bar map sensor and ran a good vacuum source to it. Then wire the MAP sensor into the aanalog side of the XCAL. You can then find the calibration equations in the SCT software and tweak it if nececessary. I used a mighty vac hand pump to accurately dial in my map sensor equation. Im also using the eboost 2........... but thought this would be much more accurate.
