    Default quiet in here these days!

    Wow, does anyone still drive these cars except for the hardcore longtime faithful? Been away from the mustang world almost entirely for 3+ years. Dragged my heap out of the mothballs and went to VMP for a new tune today.
    OLD tune --> 2.3 whipple, 3.0 upper made 585/554
    NEW tune -->2.3 Whipple, 3.0 upper, ---> 602/554 @ 17.9 psi
    New 2.6 rr pulley on torco ---> 631/619 @ 21.2 psi

    Very pleased, and finally got the thrill again on the torco tune. Wow, what a beast with all that torque. Made my hair stand up when it spun at 60 or 70 mph in 3rd just rolling on the throttle! I sure miss dd this thing now.

    Thanks to Justin @ VMP!

    I was wondering the same thing...seems like the thread count is fairly quiet compared to what I remember. Then again, I've been gone for 2 years, so i wouldn't really know.

    I like this place over some of the others. It filled with solid tech and purged from silly threads about what oil and Intake is the best. You can get solid help/advice here with some good fun from time to time.

    Good to see you back, I don't see myself without a cobra unless there are some extreme drastic changes made in my life!

    I just bought an 03 Cobra, and I need to know which shifter is best. I might get an intake, looking to run 12's oneday.

    suggestions?

    Yeah, check out this site called SVTperformance.com. They'll have all your answers there.

    Just switched from a Steeda to a Mgw. Love the Mgw, very tight ratio indeed.

    I've been out of the Mustang world for a while. Just got rid of a '12 SRT8 Super Bee to get into 04 Cobra (a mint and all stock 11K vert) This car has been my grail for some time...

    Truer words were never spoken man. That's why I'm going back to stock-ish.

    Still rocking the 2.3L Whipple, 60 lb injectors, BAP and the same 16 psi of boost for the last 8 years. Yea I know- weak sauce for a Terminator, but I still have my stock engine and clutch and all I have to do is wash it occasionally and change the oil every couple years. I would like to build a new engine for it one day with all the improvements that are available, but it's hard to spend all that time and money when the stock bullet burns no oil, makes no weird ticking or tapping noises at all, never smokes, and has no fluid leaks anywhere. I bought her brand new and still wouldn't sell her for anything else. I wouldn't mind getting a TVS in place of my Whipple some day and running her on the corn. I'm putting in some KW coilovers this winter, it's the first big change it quite a while. The suspension has been stock as well until now. Can't take the 4x4 look any more!
