Default HP Tuners for 03-04 Cobra

So has anybody heard anything lately? Is this still something that might happen?

I don't think they have plans for tuning anything pre 2005.

Nothing coming anytime soon for the 03 cobra guys... and id say more then likely it will never happen.

I'm pretty sure anything EEC-IV is off the table for them. Not enough money in it, SCT and Diablo pretty much have the market covered.

I have talked to HP tuners multiple times last summer and the word was its not on our list. So not saying it wont happen I just think there trying to get the other stuff out before the 03- 04 guys. Its really a small market for HP tuners anyways since most guys are already on SCT most would not switch if there cars are already tune. Although if they ever did get it I would put it on my future cars , just not the current ones but its standalone system now anyways.

Our cars are EEC-V not EEC-IV, and support is in beta to read:

That's exactly what I was looking for! That's awesome. Thanks man. So I would assume that it's right around the corner for our platform?

So as someone who has had the same SCT tune forever and hasn't looked at all the (potentially) new options, what would be the advantages of HP Tuners?

Same reading I had, a while back, when I spoke with EB about tuning software. The HP Tuners package should be a very nice implementation for '03/'04 owners.

The benefits of the HP Tuners package would be essentially non existent for guys who do not tune their cars Eric. If an owner bought a custom tune for their car and has not further modified the vehicle since it was tuned the probability of any measurable benefits being realized is small unless the original custom tune was missing the mark somewhere.

On the other hand if the owner was actively pursuing other modifications the HP Tuners product offering might be money well spent. The number of times I have called SCT only to receive a rude response accompanied by incorrect information makes a tuning software alternative a very attractive option.

So it's basically customer service? SCT has gotten too big for their britches?

I should, in fairness, represent that my experiences may not necessarily be the same as what others may experience. Additionally things I find unattractive others may not. So as the saying goes, your mileage may vary ...
