Default New best.....still rocking the Eaton!!

Been 8 years since I last made a pass with my car......got married, started a family etc. Finally got back into it last winter and swapped the T-56 for an auto. Previous best was 10.65 @ 130. I have not touched the OEM engine, still just a ported Eaton (upper/lower), no nitrous.

Great day today, DA was right around +1,000 feet all day, nice cool dry fall air. Car weighs 3515# with me in it. Both passes were off the foot brake. I tried the trans brake but blew the tires off. I think I need slicks before I try the brake again. The old school MT drag radials I'm using are finicky.

I owe a lot of people on here a huge thank you. Lots of knowledge and some very helpful people. I've sent a lot of PM's and got some great deals on parts from others. Swerve, Burntire, Wicked46, JamesHell just to name a few.

Joe, that is a smoking pass for a 3500# 12/13 year old warrior with an original OEM engine and just an auto!

Very impressive! With some new shoes that is a 9 second car.

Thanks Ed! I plan to try a set of 275 Pro's and work with the suspension to see if I can get the can to leave on the brake. You are more optimistic than I am. I think the car could run a low 2 or a high teen but I need more mph to run a 9 even if I can get 1.3 short times.

Thanks Jake. It flashes to about 3200rpm. I really wanted it as tight as possible for good street manners. The guys at ProTorque have been great to deal with, they nailed it the very first try.

yea they do good. You may come to find you need more stall to get it going to get the 60s down. Its a give / take scenario

I might send it back to get reflashed but I need to figure out how to get the car to hook on the brake first and what those short times yield.
