New to Ford Modular

Hello to everyone

Have 2000 Lightning been doing mods and making 532 rwp. at present time. Southern Indiana.

Similar to my build.
3.4 whipple, ported trick Flow heads with oversize valves, custom grind cams, etc, etc...

Going to be pushing 22# on e85 & 18# on 93. I should be near 800hp on the corn.

14.5# of boost is extremely conservative. Large blowers need to be spun hard. My 2.3 made the same power as my 3.4 below 16# boost. Once I crossed 16# the 3.4 began out performing the 2.3

What are your plans with the build?

I super/pro drag race, wanted something to run 12 seconds in sportsman class, and have good running street driver. You are right about 3.4 at this boost level but to bracket race the charge air would be easier to keep low which does a lot for consistency. Have been trying to decide on set of wheels to run slicks, would like to run 15" due to more selection of tires but seems that is hard to do with stock brakes.
