    Default Knock sensor placement

Hi all. I'm looking to mount the knock sensors outside the block valley of my Teksid block build. A Termi swap is going in there and the boss for the sensors have been ground off. There is some available space on the back of the heads, but not sure if that is a good place for them.
    Any ideas ?

There could be place for both in block, you must lenghten the wiring. Pics from my 4.6 Cobra iron block. In other hole I used thread repai insert to make it suitable for m8 bolt.

Nice job. Your sensor is different than mine. It has an m12 thread with integral wiring plug. Yours looks exactly like the sensor I replaced on my buddies Polaris snowmobile today. What are the chances I could use a sensor like yours?
    Thanks for the reply

My sensors and all electrics are from 2003 Mach, so at least they work with Ford ecm.
