Icon5 Looking for info: considering a 3.9L Lincoln LS V8 in a Pinto.

Has anyone here ever swapped the 3.9L LINCOLN LS V8 into any classic Ford? I have a 1973 Pinto wagon I am considering dropping one in. Not really looking to do to many mods over the stock setup. Just make it visually appealing like hiding wires, color matching to the car etc. Iíll fabricate some custom headers for it. Also want to put a 5 or 6 speed manual behind it but unsure if the Lincoln ever had a manual in the V8 LS. The bonus will be when asked what motor is under the hood and I say itís an LS V8, then I open the hood and let the conversation begin🤣

Any information will be very much appreciated. Iím not total unfamiliar with mod motors as Iím in the process of a 4.6 DOHC F100 build now.

Pretty sure the Lincoln LS is a rebodied Jaguar X chassis, as is the Little T-birds. The Jaguar X's are junk. so you can see how that translates. But for novelty reasons it would be interesting but diffinently not popular. You probably on your own. sorry
