2004 Cobra blower on 2018 Coyote
Pricing for newer blower packages are $7k and up for latest gen Coyote. If a 3.4L Whipple from an 04 Cobra were laying around the shop, could it be adapted to work on the Coyote motor? I realize this is an odd setup but the idea is to repurpose the 04 Whipple for installation onto the Coyote motor for much less than the $7k figure.

Probably, but you could find yourself in the bag for a fair amount of custom fabrication and you would still need to buy the (I am sure pricey) Coyote blower manifold.

Yes of course it is possible. I have a 3.6LC from a GT500 adapted for an 03-04 Cobra. You just need to design a lower intake manifold, get it made, adapt it to mount the blower. Depending on location you may need to redesign the inlet on it. Most likely swap out the blower snout. Design or buy pulley bridge for the blower. Redesign the lower pulley to also run the blower. Most likely need a new hood to fit the 3.4L. New throttle cable. Depending on which side the you have the inlet on you will have to redo throttle cable and cruise control. This does not count all the small gaskets and fab work to make the small things work.

Hmmm. I like a challenge but it seems that selling the old 3.4 and getting a designed system may be a better approach. Thanks for the thoughts gents!
