Default 1999 Teksid block timing cover

Hello all, new member here. I'm building a new engine for my 2004 GT. I have a Teksid block from a 1999 Cobra, and i intend to install 2v Romeo heads on it. Does anyone have experience with fitting a timing cover on a Teksid block? Will a Ford factory timing cover (2W7Z-6019-AB)for a 2v Romeo block fit a Teksid block that was for a 4v Cobra engine? Thanks for your input. ...regards, kevin

Timing covers are head geometry specific. 2V Heads need 2V covers. 3V heads need 3V covers. 4V heads need 4V covers. They can not be mixed and matched.

I did use a timing cover from a 2V on my Teksid. There were no problem that I can remember. Of course, as Ed says, you can't used a 4v timing cover for 2v heads, but a 2v timing cover should but bolt-on.
