I am new to the site and have a few simple questions. I am having my very first car that I have purchased ('11 Mustang GT) being build for me as we speak (hopefully arriving in four weeks or less) and I am not sure how to answer simple questions I have been asked at work; what are the "true" performance statistics of the 2011 Mustang GT (hp, torque, 0-60, 1/4 mile)? I have heard that it is under-rated on numerous stats? Thank you for your time.

I found on the site that stock manual 383rwhp? what does that "usually" equal for the motor?

412HP is the rated power at the flywheel.

365-385 is the rating "at the wheels" depending on who has dynoed it and what transmission they have and every other variable.

Welcome to Modular Fords, cmo11! Hope your new ride arrives soon!

We don't have a ton of data posted yet, but here are a couple threads you might want to check quick.

Hopefully as more people get their cars, we'll start seeing more results posted therein. There are probably some more individual threads out there, too. (We can't catch 'em all to add to the summary type threads. If you find them, let us know!)
