I put a 4.6L in my 54 Mercury.

I rebuilt the front end and used a 1988-93 Cavalier rack. The steering is touch at highway speed road walks. Any ideas for a fix?

Need more info-
Is it a power or manual rack? What are you using for a P/S pump if it's power? Are you using a rag joint or a u-joint for the steering shaft?

Are you experiencing bump steer? I would also look at adding caster to reduce road walk.
