    Good luck!

I had the same thought to make a few passes at E-Town to check out the new mods but have to work, oh well.

Good luck. I predict an 11.8 run. Don't punch the radio this time.

Good luck man! You should get in the 11's with your mods. I'm calling a 11.84 with a 1.75 60'.

    Hotlapping is no good

If you want to make an 11 sec run you pull up to the water box at 120 degrees after the car has been sitting for 2 hours.

I will have my fingers crossed for ya.... Good luck. I want to have a video of the 11's pass to show that the kb's have potential.

Previously, I would have agreed 110%. But lately, I've seen a trend just the opposite. For example, here are my first three runs from last Saturday:

    4:08pm: 7.322 @ 94.084
    4:16pm: 7.315 @ 97.159
    4:22pm: 7.304 @ 96.515

The car had sat for a couple hours before the first run. But, the next two runs (8 minutes and 6 minutes apart) were quicker. Go figure...

Good luck! I'm with Dustin. Hot lapping will only hurt your ET and maybe your car. Let it rest. I see a young guy at our track every time I go with a fistful of time slips wondering why he's going slower and slower. My car loses 4 tenths and 4-6 mph hot lapping it.

Yeah but you forgot to mention your wife was driving 'her car' on those passes...

Seriously it sounds strange but we found that on scott's (adams dad) turbo car too. Icing it down slowed it down and it ran quicker the hotter it was - goes against everything I know..lol

    Good luck tonight Ron!!

Yeah don't hotlap it! Make sure you are running less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas too!! When i made my 12.99 pass i had something like 20 miles left in the tank. Also I had let the car cool off for an hour and a half.

With a power adder, I've always been advised to have at least a 1\2 tank so when the gas flows to the back of the tank under acceleration, you won't risk getting air in the fuel line from a lack of fuel.

haha... no, I was driving on those three runs.

For whatever reason, my car seems to run a tick better now once it's up to operating temp. It wasn't like that when I was N/A.
