    Basically it is a new aluminum block without the knock sensor bosses. Supposedly the new blocks are a touch better than the Teksids.

    Too bad they're priced at 999.00 for the bare block and 4500.00 for a shortblock. I'd seriously stop considering VT for a factory block like this. Until then I'm still saving for 7K+ engine from VT!
