Anywhere have any experience with the 99/01 Cobra Intake cams, ive heard of people using them with success. Alot more duration than the stock 03/04 intake cam, and just about as much lift.

They are cheap from Tousley, and dont require a spring or retainer swap. My heads are gonna be apart and I was thinking of adding a set myself.

Its obvious that the cobra cams were used in everything from blown motors to NA. I would give up some low end for gains up top personally. The PD blower will supply all the low end sack I need.

Here are specs for a comparison.

Mach 1, 03/04 Cobra, Aviator, Marauder (Lincoln cams are very close to these also):
Intake: 184 deg @ .050/.394 lift
Exhaust: 196 deg @ .050/.397" lift
114 lobe center

99/01 Cobra:
Intake: 196 duration @.050/.392 lift
Exhaust: 194 duration @.050/.390 lift
114 lobe center

The 96/98 cam has a 206 degree secondary intake lobe, which is a nice jump also, wonder how that would work?

96-98 Cobra:
Intake: Primary Lobe, 196 duration @.050/ .390 lift
Secondary Lobe, 206 duration @.050/ .390 lift

I am thinking of using the 96-98 cams if I ever have my motor apart.
