I posted this not long ago, but figured it needed a new thread, since it has some new power numbers.

A friend of mine is toying around with the idea of selling his built 99 GT. Car is silver with dark grey cloth interior. Car has all working factory options, and at times is used as a daily driver with no problems, idles and drives pretty much like a stocker until the loud pedal goes down.

The run down on it is

Motor:

5.4 Swap w/ Manley Pistons, Manley H Beam Rods, Forged Navigator Crankshaft, Cobra Oil Pump, ARP Main, Head and Oil Pan Studs, ARP Side Cap Studs, 9.2:1 Compression

Navigator 4v Heads Ported by Modular Head Shop w/ Comp .500 Lift Springs @ 130 LBS of Seat Pressure, and 98 Cobra Cams

MMR Sheet Metal Upper Box Intake w/ Navigator Lower

75mm Throttle Body

Meziere Electric Water Pump

Turbo System:

Custom built turbo kit using a

Borg Warner SX80 Turbo with a 1.07 A/R & T6 Dual Scroll Flange, & Custom Race Impeller

Tuned by XXX Motorsports:

649 rwhp through the unlocked converter, SAE on a Dynojet on STRAIGHT PUMP GAS, NO METHANOL, on only 15 degrees of timing, on 19 psi (previously made 647 rwhp on 18 psi before adding the MT Drag Radials, and exhaust).

804 RWHP & 725 RWTQ on race gas at 26 psi as of the other day, through the exhaust.

This transmission shows alot less on the dyno than a stick would, the 03 Cobra that it was previously in showed 100-120 RWHP LESS than what it did with the T56, so you can imagine how much power this car is really making at the flywheel.

Car has full interior, ice cold ac, working heat, power windows, power locks, power steering, cruise control, power driver seat, power mirrors, keyless, Mach 460 Stereo. Paint is good for the most part, has some small scratches on a fender, and the interior is in good shape.

Has approx 84k miles on body. Motor & turbo kit only have a couple thousand miles on them, motor has excellent compression, no knocking or smoking. Transmission setup has around 4000 miles on it.

The bad is, car needs a new cowl panel & windshield, as the windshield has a crack from a rock flying up on the highway, the cowl panel was just worn out like most of them are, so he pulled it off for now. Car still has stock suspension because of his Wife wanting it to ride stock (she drove the car quite a bit over the years as well). Car has a few scratches and stuff here and there, but nothing crazy.

Car ran a [email protected] with a 1.68 60 ft in the 1/8, highest mph was 109.73, thats on PUMP GAS, 17's, and barely leaving with any boost. It has not been back on the track since doing the race gas tune.

He has had the car since 03, and has put alot of money into it, and just wants to sell it to invest more into his new business. He is looking for around $15k, could easily be a low 9 second car with some suspension work.

I need to get some, he doesnt have a camera. He opened a new repair shop, so he has been busy with that during the week.

I will PM you his number. He needs to get pics of it, but is slammed during the week with the shop he opened. Im sure we can get it done though.
