Installed a UPR clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster today. The pedal feels easier to depress and the clutch engages higher up where it belongs IMHO. I wish I had done this sooner. There is a potential problem to watch for though. The washers I used to align the quadrant with the cable hit the bracket for I guess it's the switch that won't let the car start unless the clutch is disengaged. This would not allow the pedal to come all the way up. After bending the bracket out of the way I had a half inch or more additional free play at the top of the pedal travel. I circled the area in red in the picture.
