aluminator 3v shortblock max HP

I've recently replaced my stock bottom end with an aluminator 3v shortblock and a few other goodies. What I need to know is what is the max HP I can get from that block? FRPP is who I got it from and they say to stop at 700HP however I keep hearing from people saying that they have the same block and are pushiing 1000HP. I just can't afford to make a mistake by pushing it too far ya know. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Try getting in touch with Justin at JPC Racing, I found him to be very knowledgeable about where things break, he told me he even broke 3 Boss 50 big bore blocks.
Thanks Derrick. I really appreciate the information. Ill give them a call.
Let us know what Justin says. He's pretty cool and very knowledgeable
He said i should be able to push it to 1000hp at the rear if I use it as a show car or daily driver without dogging the crap out of it at the track or hitting it hard continuously on the dyno. Other than that my car is almost done at the shop as soon as it is finished i'll post some pics of it along with the dyno sheet with and without boost so you guys know what to expect with the mods I've done. maybe it could help someone else.
Thanks for the info in advance. Always good to see actual results.
Ok....here it is. Aluminator shortblock 9:1 compression 3V, frpp intake, frpp shorty headers, comp cams xfi-spr stage 2 cams with springs and retainers, livernoise phaser lockouts, turbonetics 05-09and turbo kit with hurricane series banita 78mm compressor/ 68mm turbine, stock throttle body cause the BBK broke, frpp one step colder plugs. Now I took it to a mustang specific shop nothing but stangs in the shop period. So they should know what they are doing. However even with all of that under the hood I only ended up with 550hp/550tq rwhp!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I should have at least be seeing 650+ horse and torque. Unless I completely missed something. Please someone enlighten me or just explain how stupid I am...
Sorry, I forgot to mention the big slot pro-M air sensor as well...
sounds about right, comp cams with no head work, shorty headers, cats, delete plates? that is an additional 40hp+/-

Manual or auto? If you have an auto then don't worry about dyno numbers, turbo+auto+dyno= low numbers. With an auto the dyno just doesn't load a turbo enough to get real good numbers. When I had a base tune done it only showed 400 rwhp @ 10# of boost but I turned 11.78 at 121mph on the base tune.

Its a stock 5speed no head work, shorty headers, frpp intake with deletes and no cats...
what boost are you runing?, looks like 10 psi to me with those #
Nope! 18lbs With AEM truBoost gauge 550rwhp . I wish it was making more for sure. Mayge if I took out the livernoise cam phaser lockouts and have the cams rechecked for correct timing. Any thoughts?

GT throttle body or GT500 throttle body?

Numbers are definitely low for that amount of boost with a turbo.

What's your fuel situation? What injector size...what pumps?

What did your tuner say? Where is he finding the limit? A/F ratios?
Fuel stock lines and rails but frpp gt500 duel fuel pump with harness injectors are 60lbs throttle body if stock, I had a bbk but it crapped out on me. The AFR is pretty damn lean which come to think of it. I've been having lean issues since I installed the duel pump setup. But before anyone asks I have pulled the pumps and bench tested them and had frpp send me a new harness so id like to say it couldn't be the fuel system...but anything is possible.
Tuner said he thinks it could be the livernoise lockouts considering the last couple 3v's they locked out lost 80-100rwhp. Crappy thing though "IF" I have them unlock the cam phasers I might as well have them double check the mechanical cam timing as well while they are digging into it. Just in case the shop that installed them screwed up. I mean yeah they can build 1000-1500rwhp supras but I've yet to see another american car in their shop since I took it to them a year ago. (The shop that installed the cams that is)

Are you running 127-450 cams? I have those in my car but use the phaser limiters instead of the lockouts. You just max your cam timing to 18*-20* and should be good to go.

I've heard other turbo guys get low numbers on the dyno because it didn't load up properly.
Get to a decent dyno shop. You're 150rwhp off where you should be. I won't claim to know the exact reason from what I've read here and you shouldn't believe anyone who does.
really short 150 at the wheels, wow i think you have a issue with timing too like the vvti tables are incorrect but hey its hard to say by reading this
I have the comp cams XFI-SPR stage 2's non blower grind i could tell you the P/N but its very burried in the shed out back.. i couldnt agree more and thank you guys very much for all the advice its been very helpful...
