Should I bother with relocating the battery on a daily driver car?

If your car sees the track and you want to squeeze the maximum out of it, why not? Its really not a big deal and not too costly.

A lightweight battery is much better on a daily driver.

I'd rather do the relocation than a lightweight battery. It's not worth a dead battery if you leave your dome light on or have accessories on too long.

Now that I thought about it I wouldn't even mess with the battery. Just another thing to go wrong/fail.

If you do relocate it you would need to install the proper cut-off switch to make it truly track legal ( most tracks do not check for the majority of cars) making it one more part to add. Unless you need the room just leave it alone
