On the way home tonight in my 99 Cobra, driving along normal, out of nowhere I hear what sounds like a blown exhaust manifold gasket, along with a slight skip. I make it to my shop, keeping an eye on the oil pressure and temp and everything is normal. Well I pull the plug wire cover from the passenger side and the rearmost plug wire is laying there in about 3 different pieces. I removed the wiring and the plug was just laying there in the valve cover. The theads on the spark plug are all screwed up and the electrode is completely gone(probably bent a valve or got the piston?). Anyone else seen this happen? I'm gonna pull the valve cover today and see if I can see anything further. I'll get some pics up today sometime.
