Just a question for anyone who knows..I just noticed the other day when going through the gears a wot the boost gauge reads around 10 psi to slightly past that as it goes up to say 6000 to 62000 rpm the boost drops slightly to around 9-10 on the gauge,Is this an indication of belt slip?or the boost dump valve?Maybe blower efficiency? My car is stock except for a k&n and a borla cat back.any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks

You may want to try a BilletFlo Idler

Wait a second, you have no after market pulleys on the car, and you have boost drop??? Without after market pulleys you are not overdriving the blower. Did you remove the stock belt? Check the cover for dust, or the belt for shinny spots.

I'm basically stock and showed the same thing on the dyno. Just a little bit of dust, but boost tailed off after 5,800 - 5,900 rpm after my 1st dyno run. On the first run boost held to 6400 rpm.
I can't feel it on the street (too many things happening too fast for my brain when the engine spins fast).
