I have a 1997 gt mustang with the stock brakes and hydroboost set up. I swapped the front calipers for 2000+ gt PBR calipers and new calipers in the rear. All new pads and new rotors.

I cant seem to get the brakes to bleed. I have bled the master cylinder and it bleeds fine. It feels like I am blocked somehow. I pushed the reset button on the distribution block just to see if that would do it and nothing. I have tride to bleed it with the key on and off. I am not getting anything. I have tried a vaccum brake bleeder and still nothing. Is the ABS system have some trick for letting the fuild pass? Somewhere I am blocked and I cant figure out why.

Any ideas?

How did you bleed the MS? Did you start at the bleed scew closest to the firewall first? Also Are you holding pressure on the brakes and then having someone open the bleed screw? Sometimes you have to pump them up and then hold before the screw can be opened. The only time I have had and issue is when I ran the MS dry. Have you gone back over the lines to make sure you are not sucking air back into the system?

I did start with the one closest to the fire wall on the MC. It did bleed very good out of both of the screws very good. I just cant get any thing from the brake calipers except the drivers side front will bleed just a little after several tries. But no matter how many times I try nothing happens with the rest of the calipers. No air even comes out. What did you have to do when your MC went dry?
