had someone run into my company car in a parking lot this weekend, and they scuffed some (red) paint onto my bumper. I carefully removed the paint with some 2000 grit wet-dry sandpaper, but now I have some areas where the clear-coat is (a little) dull due to the sandpaper.

How do I buff these areas back to the original shine for cheap???

Or should I just buy some clear-coat in a can for these small spots???

You should be able to polish that out by hand no problem. Just use a light rubbing compound then follow with some polish. If push comes to show, drop by a detail or bodyshop and have them touch it with the buffer. You should be able to take care of it by hand though.
